11th to 13th Sep. 2009, nearly 18,000 people from different Asia countries gathered in TWTC Nangang to attend the 2009 Asia Pacific Herbalife University. This is the biggest event that Herbalife has organized in the last decade, and represents a new milestone in Taiwan’s MICE industry, as the flexibility of the venue allows the event organizer to plan meeting, dining and entertainment performances all together in the venue.

Flexible Use of Space
The upper level exhibition hall is Taiwan’s largest pillar free showground with an area exceeding 3.5 soccer fields which allows the showground to accommodate up to 18,000 for event participants. This superlative architectural design offers the flexibility to hold everything from trade shows, musical performances, receptions, large-scale conventions and cultural events. The new center also includes eight state-fo-the-art meeting rooms that can be flexibly divided into 12 smaller units to offer dedicated space to meet every event or conference need. Together these 12 units can simultaneously accommodate up to 1,820 guests.
Custom-designed double-decked showground
A special two-layer showground design doubles the show space of the new Nangang complex. Each of the two exhibition floors can allow two or three different event functions to be staged simultaneously on the same floor. Furthermore, multiple entrances, each with a different purpose, provide a better user-friendly environment: visitors enter from the west wing, while vehicles enter from the east wing. TWTC Nangang truly provides more space, function, and safety.
Excellent Location
TWTC Nangang is located in a booming business area and close to two modern high-tech business centers, the Neihu Science Park and the Nangang Software Park. At the axis of two metro lines and three highways (National Highways No.1, No.3 and No.5), TWTC Nangang is also a few minutes away from the Taiwan Rail and Taiwan High Speed Rail station. And, with the completion of the metro lines, a dedicated walkway will directly link the hall with the new terminal metro line station.
